Suravi Sharma Kumar is a doctor by profession with a deep interest and liking for literature. She was inspired to write this book because most people of mainland India are not familiar with the country’s North-east and unaware of its innate beauty. This is her debut novel and is largely based on her research and experiences in the valley.
